Biography:

Kari is a native of Oneonta New York who joined Women’s Care in 2020. Since being sick as a child she quickly realized she was meant to become a nurse. She was so thankful for the support of medical professionals, especially from the nurses when she was a child, and decided she wanted the chance to give back the love and support she received as a patient. She was excited to start school to get into a profession where she could help others so she went right into college for nursing after high school. She started working as a registered nurse at nineteen years old and after shadowing in a labor & delivery unit she decided that becoming a midwife herself was the next step. She was truly touched by the personal care and support midwives provided to women and their partners throughout pregnancy and labor. Throughout her school experience she also discovered her passion in treating women throughout their life span along with gynecological care so she decided to further her education to get her Woman’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree.
