Profile

Rachel is a Certified Nurse-Midwife who joined Women’s Care in August 2016. She originally began her career as a health educator, primarily focusing on pregnancy and reproductive health issues. After a few years of working in community health, she realized that her desire to care for women extended beyond her role as an educator, so she returned to school to pursue a career as a nurse-midwife.

“What I enjoy most about being a Nurse-Midwife is that it allows me the opportunity to combine my passion for health education with my love of caring for women. I’m always excited when I have the chance to build relationships with patients and their families, while at the same time providing them with the education they need on a particular health issue. I believe we have a unique opportunity to care for women during some of the most joyous and difficult times in their lives. I always feel honored to be part of such important milestones, whether it be caring for them during adolescence, pregnancy, or menopause.”
