Is it with the fondest of memories and the warmest wishes for his future that Women’s Care announces the retirement of Dr. James O’Keeffe today. Dr. Jim joined his father in practice in Glens Falls just after completing his ObGyn residency in Nebraska in 1977, and has been a pillar of Women’s Care and the local ObGyn community ever since. He cared for countless patients over these 44 years and he made Glens Falls and the surrounding communities a safer and better place to live, especially for all the women under his care.
Dr. Jim’s retirement marks the end of an era at Women’s Care, as he is the final of the O’Keeffes to retire from practice. However, all at Women’s Care hope to carry on the family legacy in the community, and we appreciate all he did to build the practice into what it is today. We wish our Dr. Jim all the best in his retirement and will miss him dearly!
